While I was in Canada, I was lucky enough to find my way onto CBC Radio. Anna Maria Tremonti invited me onto her programme The Current – one of Canada’s most popular talk shows – for a half hour chat about economics and society. Later I had a chance to argue with conservative Canadian shock jock Jerry Agar, a free market fan of the best kind. But we parted friends:
